Hidden Beaches of Vasai: Escape the Crowds

While Suruchi Beach is lovely, Vasai's coastline has several quieter options where you can enjoy the Arabian Sea in peace. Here are our favourite hidden beaches.

Kalamb Beach — The Quietest Escape

Kalamb Beach, near the Vasai-Virar border, is the most secluded beach in the region. Golden sand, casuarina trees, and a peaceful atmosphere make it perfect for those who want to get away from it all. You'll often see local fishermen at work but very few tourists. Best for: reading, meditation, solitude.

Bhuigaon Beach — The Photographer's Choice

Bhuigaon Beach offers a beautiful shoreline with scenic rock formations at one end. It's a favourite among photographers for sunrise shots. The beach is relatively clean and less commercialised. Best for: photography, morning walks.

Getting There

From Vasai Road station, take an auto-rickshaw. Kalamb is about 30 minutes away, Bhuigaon about 20 minutes. Carry your own water and snacks as there are no stalls. Check the tide timings before visiting.
